The Phoenix-Metro area sales remain at a very low levels however activity is starting to pick up. Foreclosure activity is helping generate sales as Banks have been liquidating inventory for very low prices. Price indicators reflect this trend as they continue to drop. The outlying areas of the valley have seen the worst concentration of foreclosure activity. These areas are showing improvement as prices have been dropped to record lows. Maricopa is seeing a dramatic spike in sales over the past few months. Queen Creek is also showing improvement. The interior areas of the Valley ave seen a downturn yet foreclosure activity has been more sporadic throughout neighborhoods.
